About Me
Dancing and teaching dance in Arizona, since 2008. In college and school I was always part of a passionate dance group and have done many stage performances and participated in college level dance competitions. Was part of ASU Bhangra Group from 2004-2006, participated in Bhangra Competitions & Events in the USA, Vegas & Yuba City. Was managing CRY - Child Rights and You (non-profit organization) Phoenix Chapter from 2007-2011, organizing fund-raiser events like cricket tournaments, dance shows, dance competitions, fashion shows and managing administrative and community work. Have attended dance workshops for Salsa, Bollywood Fusion and Kathak dance style. Owned and operated dance school Desert Dancers from 2017 till 2022. Currently Partner & Instructor of Desi Dance Fitness Co, dance & fitness school. Our students participates in many community events - Diwali, Kite Festival, India Night, Holi, Gilbert Diversity Festival, Chandler Festival, Tamil Sangam Festival, Chinmaya Mission events, Ostrich Festival, Janmashtami, Discover India and other events. We also host Desi Dance style Fitness classes, which is bringing the community together while burning calories and getting fit. Experienced in hosting opening performances for Artists/ Celebrities, Flash Mobs, Wedding Choreography, Corporate Cultural Events, Special Event Choreo and Performances.
